Concremat has had a certified quality management system since 2002, meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, and over time, with the new market demands and customer needs, environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and occupational safety and health (ISO 45001) were aggregated. Since then, the company has maintained its certifications in a process of continuous improvement.

The responsibility for health, safety and the environment, in addition to the promotion of quality, is a commitment made by the senior management of the company, which systematically monitors the management and points of improvement in the QHSE Committee.

We continuously pursue the goal of zero accident in our operations and, to this end, we invest in training and training of our teams, focusing on training and prevention. We have also created 10 safety rules that must be practiced by everyone in their daily work life and also outside of it. Following the rules is a commitment for everyone.

1 - PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY: Contribute to a psychologically safe environment by adopting a responsible and respectful conduct.

2 - SAFE DRIVING: Use seat belts, respect the speed limits, don't use cell phones, and practice defensive driving. Respect the traffic laws and don't drive for long periods without a break or rest when you are on duty or on the commute home-work-home;

3 - ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: Working or driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is prohibited;

4 - CAPACITY: Only perform activities for which you are authorized, qualified/certified, and fit, and always have your ASO up to date;

5 - SPECIAL ACTIVITIES: Perform the activities of working at height, confined space, hot work, excavation, high voltage, drilling, and other special activities only after the issuance of the Authorization / Work Permit by the Safety professional;

6 - LOCKOUT: Make effective lockout and ensure zero energy before interventions in facilities, machines, or equipment;

7 - CHEMICAL PRODUCT: Know the relevant Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) before starting the activity and/or transportation;

8 - HANDS: Take care of your hands, pay attention to the correct handling and condition of tools and equipment. Follow the procedures for the activity and never fail to use the proper PPE;

9 - BEHAVIOR: Keep the workplace clean and organized. Know and respect rules, procedures, and the risks of your activity. If the risks are not controlled, inform your leadership immediately and do not start the activity until you feel safe to perform it

10 - SAVE THE DAY: report and treat every Deviation, Incident, and Accident and communicate it to the QHSE area.

Laboratory Policy

Concremat has a test laboratory management system accredited by Inmetro’s General Accreditation Coordination, meeting the requirements of the NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.

In order to meet the needs of its customers, a Quality System has been implemented in accordance with the recommendations of the NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, defining its Quality Policy as expressed below.

To be committed to the quality management system based on ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017, guaranteeing the consistent operation of the laboratory.

To act with confidentiality, impartiality and competence, ensuring the validity of results.

Systematically seeking customer satisfaction, always aiming to meet the applicable requirements and the required cost, time and quality expectations.

Accredited Inspections Policy

Concremat has an inspection management system accredited by Inmetro’s General Accreditation Coordination, meeting the requirements of standard NBR ISO/IEC 17020:2012.

Concremat’s accredited inspection body has a quality system in place in accordance with the recommendations of the NBR ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard and defines its quality policy as follows.

Ensure quality and reliability in the processes and services provided, guaranteeing consistent operation;

To act impartially and independently in inspections;

Promote the continuous improvement of methods, techniques, tools and technological solutions for the inspection process;

Maintain technical staff with the necessary skills and trained in the requirements of the NBR ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard and other related standards.
