The 50’s
In 1952, Prof. Mauro Ribeiro Viegas opens the first private Laboratory for the control of concrete and materials in Brazil; that is the start of the Concremat Companies.
The 60’s
The company installs a laboratory in Brasília to meet the construction works of the new capital. Opening of the São Paulo branch.
The 70’s
The company expands the activities and starts to act in the areas of supervision of large-sized works, studies and projects / recovery of structures. Foundation of CONCREJATO.
The 80’s
The company implements the Concremat Quality System and its laboratories are accredited by Inmetro. Foundation of CONTEMAT.
The 90’s
The company consolidates its performance in engineering consulting and participates in the management of large projects and programs. Foundation of Saybolt Concremat.
Years 2000
The Concremat Companies rank 2nd among the largest engineering companies in Brazil, twice voted the engineering company of the year, and rely on permanent staffing of around 4,000 collaborators.
